Coins from Barbados. The first coins issued by the Central Bank of Barbados in 1966 were in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 cents. In 1971, a 1 dollar coin was introduced. In 2018, the Central Bank of Barbados introduced a redesigned series of coins which included the 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 cent coins, and the 1 dollar coin. The new series of coins features iconic Barbadian landmarks and cultural symbols, such as the Parliament Buildings, the Pride of Barbados flower, and the Pelican.

Here are the details of each coin in the current series of Barbadian coins:

1 Cent: Features a depiction of a Tuk band drum, a symbol of Barbadian musical heritage.
5 Cents: Depicts the national flower of Barbados, the Pride of Barbados (Caesalpinia pulcherrima).
10 Cents: Circular in shape and features the Parliament Buildings of Barbados, symbolizing the country's democracy.
25 Cents: Depicts a Pelican, which is a common bird found in Barbados and represents the country's marine life.
50 Cents: Features a depiction of the "Three Ws" Monument, which honors Sir Clyde Walcott, Sir Frank Worrell, and Sir Everton Weekes, three legendary Barbadian cricketers.
1 Dollar: Depicts the Coat of Arms of Barbados, which features a broken trident symbolizing independence, as well as elements representing agriculture and the sea.

All of the coins have the year of issuance and the words "Central Bank of Barbados" written on them.
